Musical Theatre
In 2025 our Musical Theatre programme will be pasued as we adapt to some staffing changes. We hope to return in the near future.
The Musical Theatre Programme at Hills Ballet School has grown out of Miss Chantal’s love for drama and dance and great story telling! For our performers who love to sing, dance and act, our skills based Musical Theatre programme builds confidence and creativity.
Our Philosophy
We focus our Musical Theatre classes on developing skills and teamwork to perform age-appropriate Musical Theatre performances. We aim to give every student the opportunity to lead, perform in the chorus, act, sing and dance.
Performances
We work towards informal performances at the end of each term and then more formal performances in conjunction with Hills Ballet School’s Senior Showcase and End of Year concerts. Biennially we work towards a short musical.
New Students
We love to welcome new performers to our classes. We hold our lessons on Friday nights at the Aldgate Oval Hall. We currently have two levels although at various times during the year they are combined and adjusted to accommodate different performance groups.
